Yet another blunder to the coders at Bungie, Hive Disruptor still epically fails. I'm sure you all have fought the Shriekers before, and typically you'll shoot the Void core with your guns, right? Not if you have the Oversoul Edict! Seriously though, shooting at the Void core with the Oversoul Edict does nothing. Not poor damage against it, not "Immune", [i]nothing[/i]. However, shooting the metal case while it's open will do damage to it, but it's much harder to hit than the massive core. Tested against the Shrieker in the Grottos and in the Hall of Wisdom, both times they failed to damage it while shooting the core.
