I don't even get mad when people run ahead, I totally understand why they do it. Seriously think about it. Why spend 15-20 minutes on one strike killing useless enemies for Green Engrams with very little chance of getting any blues to drop, when you can complete a strike in less than 7 minutes by skipping straight to the the Boss and collecting your crappy Blue Engram rewards. Time is of the essence, especially in this game that takes up much of your time doing the same crap over and over.
You can go through 2 strikes and get double the rewards in 10-12 minutes by skipping useless enemies. Also doing strikes has become so repetitive that most people just want to get it over with as fast as possible to collect the loot and move on to something else. There is nothing wrong with speed running through strikes, but try to do with with friends who want to speed run through it.

The problem here is that he has no right to force others to play as he does. If you want to run a head, do it, I don't care. I do it myself sometimes. But I, and many other here apparently, draw the line at pulling other players a head with you as the OP describes. They may be farming glimmer. They just might like shoosting all the things. Either way, its up to them how they play and not the OP.

I'm not forcing you to do anything. You can run ahead and kill or run by any and everything your little heart desires, I know it can be done because I've done it many, many times. Just don't intentionally die to force others to play how you would want them to. Because technically, they're the ones playing the strike the way it was intended, not you.

I agree it is a dick move, I wont lie, I have done it to. But only to people who AFK at the beginning, leaving me to clear out the first part of the Strike. I cannot stand AFKers so I kill myself to push them up and allow enemies to just keep killing them over and over for being AFK.

Oh, you misunderstand me...give AFK'ers hell, they deserve it. I'm talking more about forcing other well-intentioned players to play how you want and not how they want.

i kill everything for green engrams for class spacific mats. im running low on plasteel and wire but i have over 1000 essence xD

If it takes you 15-20 minutes to compete while killing everything, you're doing it wrong. I do strikes with my wife and a buddy of ours and our average is 8 minutes killing everything, I pop a consumable at the beginning of every strike and I always have time left on it

I just threw that number up, some strikes can take that long though like - Omnigull Strike, That stupid strike on Mars that EVERYONE Departs from. Those can take way long if you're killing all enemies.
