And I will follow you the rest of the strike and not shoot a damned thing. I've got nothing but time bro. ;)

  • Lol, right. I mean rushing thru everything lowers your chance to get a legendary engram's drop. Hell any drop in that way. This is why I separate the ppl I play with. Gotta know your personnel.

  • I rush my ass off most of the time. I have noticed patterns in engram drops. I'll send a rocket onto a group on my way through just in case. Funny thing is if I'm rushing and you are staying behind killing everything I don't miss our on anything. Don't know if other people realize this but your kills can drop engrams for me. I get them at the post master all the time. I spent months killing everything in sight. I'm getting more engrams by speeding through. I understand the logic of killing everything but rushing has proven far more productive for me. Besides that I'm playing for fun. There is nothing any engram can offer me any more. Nothing. I want nothing else from this game until HoW comes out.

  • Not the Legendaries though: whoever shoots the guy carrying that is the only one that gets it. Just sayin'

  • See but now that I know about that about you, I would adjust accordingly. Most of the time I try to get my ammo filled before I get to the 1st restricted respawn area. Save a synth

  • What's the point of speed running if you're playing for fun?

  • Rushing is fun to me. Going balls to the wall like a hamster on Crack is fun as hell...

Because the lower level enemies are just ammo suckers. The challenges are at the mid-strike roadblock, and the end of the strike.

  • And ammo givers at the same time.

  • (Before we go further, I will say I play at the pace of other strikers, because personally I could GAF how long the strike takes, I play for the gunplay) That said, the argument is that shooting level 10 NPCs isn't really all that challenging when you are at light level 30+. May as well do patrols all day, if that's your gig.

  • I don't deliberately take forever, and I'll occasionally run through. I also have no problem if you want to rush and beat it by yourself, that's cool. I mostly have a problem with being forced to rush. If you can't rush it by yourself, don't do it.
