Vanguard ROC is all about those blue engrams that regularly turn into coins and motes. Not to mention the purples. If you just want to run to the boss, then all you can expect is 25 rep and a crappy reward and miss out on lots of possible drops.
What's the rush? Take your time and farm those blues and purples.

Hell yea. I second this. I can't tell you how many coins & motes I've gotten from walking thru a strike.

You get guaranteed blues at the end of a strike as well as marks. I'd rather do 7-8 rushed strikes an hour than 4 slow ones.

Then go run the lower leveled mush strikes at lvl 8,12 etc. Quicker speed run for your bounty. No reason people should bend to the will of someone looking to collect a bounty. That's like saying it's ok if you stand back and avoid all enemies your trying to complete a strike without dieing.

If you have that much trouble staying alive in a roc strike. Maybe you should step it down to a tiger.

Than run nightfalls. Each nightfall is worth 3 strikes. With burn modifies those games are quite fast. Also weeklies are worth 2 strikes.

Maybe I dont wanna. Maybe I wanna frustrate other players by beating the strike before they finish killing the first set of mobs.

Yeah I'm almost positive it's 3. 2 for weekly.

Buy I could do 3 regular strikes and actually get a reward. In the same amount of time.

I know, I was just saying that's the only way you get 9, I did the 25 strikes over time as I couldn't be arsed doing them all at once, but I think weeklies count for 2 also. I admit I ran through a few, but I was with friends!

Yeah, I rarely do strikes. I normally just do the weekly/nightfall each week till I get it done. Lol I'm just having fun giving these thin Skinners a hard time.
