Actually, by you running past enemies you're the one that is not helping. I'll always kill everything to maximize my chance of drops. You pull this shit on me and I'm just gonna run backwards to the spot I was at before you died like a biatch. Man up an help your teammates rather than leave them behind.

I didn't realize that killing every singe monster in the strike was helping complete the strike. If you want to kill monsters for a chance at engrams then go to patrol or the Mars loot cave. It still exist

no. If you want to do speed runs make a post and recruit people specifically for it. there are higher chances of engram drops during strikes.

That kind of defeats the purpose of "speed".

That is not true at all. The only places it has a higher chance is in the no respawn areas of the strikes. The other areas of the strike is the same as patrol thats why you will see randoms in it.

I'm talking about spots like the first room on the valus strike and after you kill the ogre and knight on the summoning pits. I'll stick to killing everything. If the other player is a dick and keeps dying to bring me up to them I'll just get to the boss, sit in a corner, and let them do all the work. I'm not gonna let somebody force me into playing the game the way they want me to.
