Don't know if they have crap developers or its Activision laying down the hammer but WOW. Top priorities for nearly every other game I've played were to fix real bugs and real issues plaguing the game. Forget the things people are calling for that would better the game %100. They have a list, and a pretty decent one at that, of known bugs. I've seen DeeJ acknowledge some of the issues as "known bugs" and these are dating back to October. So my question is, wtf are your 500 developers doing besides taking month vacations and patching cheese?? Its such a joke. I'm patient, listen I get it. Bug fixes take time. But it's been 4 months!!! As you've said, I have seen F2P games release patches quicker than them. At bare minimum keep us updated! Are you working on fixes, will it not be fixed, what's the deal. I and many other gamers seriously do not give a pig flying -blam!- about their "stats" and their interviews. Save that for your board of investors at Activision. And let's not even mention the fact they completely glossed over the abysmal Dark Below release. The Internet was on fire after the release and they didn't acknowledge it aside from, "Things changed, deal with it." Oh, I'll deal with it alright, by never giving them another dime after HoW drops. The problem is I'm old enough to have dealt with companies like this before, and it just disgusts me to sort of see the way this game/company is going. Give your gamers, the real water keeping this ship afloat, what they want! And give us REAL feedback on REAL issues. No more Fluffdates!! I agree with you %100! And as usual POWER to the COMMUNITY!!!

  • The people setting the priorities are the producers, not Activision and not the 500 employees who actually create and assemble the game.

Let's compare the situation with FF14. When it launched it was a disaster. It was so broken and universally hated, Square Enix scrapped it and started over after deep involvement with the player community. Why? Because as a subscription based mmo, you MUST listen to players, or your game dies. There is a clearly defined imperative to keep the players challenged, engaged, and happy. None of this applies to Destiny because it has no subscription. Therefore, Bungievision is not beholden to player wants and needs. They are only beholden to, you guessed it, the shareholders, who want to see DLC sold numbers and a huge active player base. If you wanna get serious, buy one share of Activision stock and make your voice heard.

LOL they couldn't pay ME to take a hold in that company. They are the bane of the gaming world and one of if not the most greedy companies in the industries. Shame on me for thinking otherwise because they signed with a well credited known developer. I get it. I'm not naive to the whole thing. It's just a joke to me. However, even though it's not subscription based, you can't have a 10 year plan without a consumer base. Or you can, so to speak, but it will certainly not come to fruition! You can't keep leaving steaming bags of hot fiery dog crap on people's porches and expect them not to react. I think my point is, regardless of their structure, without a player base there would be no game. And if they think Activision gives a crap about them as a company they have another thing coming. If the numbers aren't there and the $$$$ aren't matching up, they'll dump Bungie, cut losses and turn this into the next CoD if they haven't already!!
