Sorry this is delving into the depths of idiocy. I'm fully aware of the other aspects of the game as I play them too. I'm not sure if you know this but the raid doesn't take a full week to do. Crota's especially can be done in under an hour. I know this is a lot of information to grasp, but doing crotas end is actually quite fun. You know, playing the ultimate element of the game in its current form. That is the logic in playing the game. Unless you don't feel that you need a change from same story mission and strikes for the next month and a half of course. Oh there's always crucible day in day out, if you're brain dead.
I must question why you're even on a thread regarding the hard raid if you clearly are uninterested and incapable of doing it. You could explain the logic in that if you like, I would expect there isn't any though.

I'm not opposed to playing the raids at all, my biggest problem has been finding a consistent group of people so that is why my interest fizzled. I've played Crota to several checkpoints but never finished, and I heard it's actually pretty short. I see the route this game is taking with the gear, etc. in future updates and it is discouraging. All the people complaining about their VoG gear being obsolete. I don't feel like wasting my time only to see you'll be able to buy it in future expansions. Oh well. Furthermore, I was in this thread because I find it sad how immature some people are on these forums regarding other peoples' level in this game... OH YOU'RE 31! YOU CAN'T RAID! GIT GUD NUB! It gets old real fast.

I'm not criticising the level. Im criticising the attitude behind moaning about not getting to do the hard mode raid when you're not the required level. A level which in reality is not difficult to achieve in the slightest. If you don't have people to raid with, make friends. It's not a tricky thing to do, you just need to stop being a dick to people and maybe they'll want to group with you again. If all that fails, use destiny lfg. Groups are a piece of cake to find and if you want to educate yourself on the raid mechanics, there are plenty of clips on youtube to watch so you don't make a fool of yourself when you get there. Of course you can always sit and ignore a massive element of the game because you don't see a point in playing it (why play the game at all) while you do dance emotes in the tower until march.
