Power is just simply a must for Crota CP.
I'm not going to bring a donkey to a horse race. I'm going to bring that mustang.
Just grind the normal mode and level up. It's just day 1 of hard mode. It's still going to be there on day 2,3,4 and so on.

Grind? You mean do the raid once a week, get no loot, and wait another 7 days? Yeah that'll get it done.

Go make 2 other characters. Same fraction. Swap weapons and gear. 3 times a week. Problem solved.
