Suddenly all 31's trying to get in on the hard raid are just getting bullied by 32s. Psh, Highschool all over again.
Edit:
As "Amazing" and "Inspiring" Your Guys post are. I think you're missing the point, I don't care about the hard raid or doing it anytime soon! Im saying that alot of the 32s are being bullies to levels below. (As stated im my post above^) Yes i understand that we 31s do significantly less damage than a 32 but i didn't know that gave you the right to Call people "Scrubs, Scumbags, Wetbacks, etc" As much as you guys think "Oh its the interner get over it scrub. Go cry somewhere else" instead of actually understanding what im trying to imply here, It won't change anything. Just like this post is probably meaningless and others will laugh. Ive seen what bullying can do to people, I've lost family and friends to it. Im just stating what i see. Nothing more. -S

My team's composed by 3 32s and 3 31s. 31s get killed fast, but whatever, it's still completely doable. Any 32 that says the contrary is just not good enough and expecting to be carried by other 32s, in my opinion.
-
I hate you x
-
Lol why would you want to play with noob 32s?
-
Well think of it this way, when I was one of the first level 30s and done vog hard I never complained about taking 29s..I stopped playing and I still find myself at level 30 I got the new raid gear but not enough materials to upgrade, what I don't understand what's so hard about the new raid. VoG was hard with no cheeses. I could of understand in that situation but Crota? Cmon is piss easy. What's 10 % less damage from 31s?. You all rather not form groups to find 32s only? Don't think so. You 31s will be fine it's just the hype of the new raid mode. Next week they all be looking at recruiting 31ns 30 even.
-
Dude, it's not bullied or shit, you'll do less than 50% damage! You'll barely kill an Acolyte, and let's say you want to take the sword, you won't do more than 10K damage!
-
Well how about this, get to level 32 if you wanna raid hard. Simple.
-
Stay on normal until you level up then. A lvl 31 will get one shotted by almost anything, and will be dealing barely any damage to lvl 33 enemies. It wont be an enjoyable experience. I will only be doing hard mode on my 32 warlock. My 31 titan will have to wait.
-
Get to 32 by doing the normal mode and then move to hard. Trust me, you will not want to go in as a 31. At least not past the bridge
-
When the next DLC drops, time to restary all over again. Doing the same shitty strikes and what not over And over And over And over. The game is a waste of time and energy. Trust me.
-
LEVEL 31s SUCK YOUR GARBAGE! Just kidding I hit 32 10 min ago and I'm still excited
-
Don't worry, I always hated you.
-
First of all, of course a level 32 has no better skill than a 31. The raid begin so much broken that require only a conection to the internet and a little time to get to lvl 32 if not done legit. Than we have the argument that most ppl dont have the time to spend in the game than other. Its totaly fine, took your time. But ppl doing hard raid will also took their time to accept you in a firetime(until you are a level 32). I did the raid yesterday, the first 3 parts we have a half of the team 31's and a half 32's. We get beat a little but get it done. But... the crota part al least for now, its preatty hard, there is already so much room for a mistake that is not good to afford to get a low dps´on half of your team. Im glad to help my friends do the normal crota so they can gear up and come suffer with me to kill crota in the hard. with time more/better strategies will come up and it will be acceptable to lose some DPS
-
Go get my water. Waterboy
-
Give it a good few days for teams to form working strategies and get their timing down. Then "all 32 groups" will be much more willing and able to accept a 31 in their fireteam. I was squishy as hell on my warlock all night.
-
That's not entirely true. My team ran last night with two 31's and we made it to Crota. There is no substitute for skill. Also, some have still been unfortunate with RNG and don't have time to level two toons up for extra chances. Wives, work, kids and all.
-
Honestly; I've JUST started REALLY playing and hit level 30 pretty quickly. Still have more light to level. I have 2 pieces of (Max) 36 light gear, just need boots and a body piece then I'll be 32 ready. It's REALLY not that hard to level.
-
Completely honest. We had all 32s. And struggled to get past the bridge. And then the death singer. Not hating on lower levels, but do normal until you get enough armor and materials to be 32. It will be easier than taking two hits and dying. You will be a weak link in hard mode. You might be able to be carried through the lamps and possibly get a primary weapon though.

Edited by doublesit: 1/22/2015 9:50:22 AMI have my warlock on 32 but would prefer doing still a few rides with my titan on normal to get more used to the raid. Apparently everybody has a extreme urge to do the hard one regardless their level ...
-
Well they didn't take the normal raid away get your ass out there and grind
-
After running the Vault of Glass on Hard at just 1 level below (29), I learned very well how much difference only one level can make at that difficulty. As much as I sympathize with your point of view, and as much as I think everyone should have the chance to try CE on Hard, I also understand perfectly why they wouldnt want to bring 31's along. If theyre rude about it, that's something else. But I wouldnt take it as a personal slight otherwise. If you think that I'm wrong, try running the raid with a team of mostly 31's. I hope you get in on some runs soon.
-
Tell you what guys....at the end of the day its just a game aint it? I enjoy it for what it is..good fun. As for the elitist arseholes of the mighty 32 statosphere....its seems its a matter of life or death to them...what a bunch of sad sacks they are if they deem themselves godlike...its a game..pure and simple. I'm happy to blat anything with any level of player. One day maybe I'll get raid gear, when Ive actually done the raid. For now Ill just grind, meet friends in Destiny and max up what I have and what I hope to get.. Thorn bounty to finish. As for those on Fantasy Island......well.....just do one for blams sake..

Edited by marshmellop: 1/22/2015 9:32:35 AMIf it's a competition in any sense of the word, it's how lucky you get with drops. I have 2 alts and 1 main, the main has full raid gear. My alts however accrued 43 Radiant energy and 1 piece of armour in as many raids as my main. The fact that my main isn't 32 is down to luck, not skill or attitude or playtime. What I will defend however, are level 32 groups wanting level 32 players in order to have the best chance. What I won't defend are groups specifically targeting levels 31s and kicking them if they die on a first run. We were all underlevelled at some point, VOG was so difficult if underlevelled, if you're 32 now hold your words; you may just be that 32 left in the cold once House of Wolves drops. And it won't be down to your skill, it'll be down to luck.
-
Could honestly care less about raid gear anymore since the next dlc vanguard gear will be better than crota gear haha am I right?
-
Some 32 quit mid game because he trashed talked me and some guy for being 31 and when the other guy same level as me said something he quit..... Big baby
-
U shldnt be honestly I've only successfully run hard with 31
-
no need to swim before you can run. just forcus on getting to 32 then worry about the hard raid, its not going anywhere. At least by that time, everyone would of gotten strategy sorted.
