Quitting anything because it is hard, whither it is the military or college or weight loss or a marathon or anything that requires a lot of effort makes you a quitter. That is plain and simple. Would you drop out of college because you had to take a couple of hard classes? No. Would you quit working out and running because it made you tired and sore? No. Would you quit midway through a marathon because you were tired and out of breath? No. It's not about being dissatisfied by your situation and saying "screw it, I'm failing my piss test to get out of this hell hole". It's a state of mind where you say " things suck now, but they will get better. I will make them better." Those who give up when things get hard are quitters, those who stick with it make something of themeselves, whither it is in my case college or my friend case the Air Force and being stationed half way across the country in bum-blam!-, South Dakota.
