It was not ok before, but I never saw people doing it because most people actually know how to use the weapon well. Also, read everything said in the post before talking shit.

Before it was sold I saw people using like a sniper rifle or scout rifle and dropping like flies. Are those the ones you're talking about?

If you'll remember what people did on the Archon Priest nightfalls, that's what I'm talking about. The one where you walk through the first room of the strike into the area where you fight the vex.. Instead of going down, they stay near the entrance of the place and snipe at a very long distance. If it were battlefield or sniper elite it would make sense.. Any veteran player knows that sniping in this game is best at mid range.
