I am also really frustrated: There are a total of (including DLC) 5 strikes, which are the best way to earn Vanguard marks now. I don't mind the run and gun of patrols, infact I do the patrols more than the story mode. I do not enjoy PvP, never have been a huge fan of it in any game. But now, there is so little to do in the game... you grind for reputation, you grind for marks, and there is so little to do with them. I have been stockpiling materials because I want to be able to upgrade my new gear as soon as I gain the XP... but I can't afford the new gear, so its a waste of time and space. I love the game in parts, but these little things just keep building up. My loyalty to Bungie as a company and my faith in their developement team is being pushed to the limit...
