This is outrageous.
Once again, Xur hands these noobs great weapons and now everyone is running around with a icebreaker. The first time was fine, no one even knew what the gun was but now all the noobs get some of the greatest weapons in the game handed to them once again. Watch Xur do something ridiculous next week and sell Suros or Gjhallarhorn next week. Once again, Xur has ruined amazing weapons that people have EARNED. This is starting to be too much enjoy not earning the weapon the real way noobs. This game is overrun by casuals
Edit: Lmao these noobs still are mad because they didn't earn their exotics like good players. Seems like all the good veterans left.

6 RepliesIn my opinion, buying it is the real way to earn it. I didn't get lucky and have it dropped into my lap after an activity. I had to complete nightfalls and weekly level 30's to earn the coins to be able to buy it when I get home from work. By your logic, I didn't "earn" anything I own in real life because I bought it with money I worked for, vs being randomly gifted to me?

Also, you don't have to be good to earn anything in this game besides raid and nightfall rewards. It's all luck and persistence.

I know it's a satire thread but IB really isn't as good as the hype. I've had one since nov last year and it's very situational. Pre dlc I rocked the supremacy mostly and now I use the y-09 longbow. When you compare those snipers they have just a sliver less of impact. Also since both the legendary snipers hold 30 rounds and I don't suck ass with a sniper, I never run out of ammo. Now with the black hammer it has even made IB irrelevant to bosses.

You complete a task to acquire currency to spend on items at his store. Sounds like what we have here in the real world. You earn that sack of groceries by going to work and earning the money needed to purchase it. A random loot drop does not equate to earning - it's a mere lottery ticket. There is no logic in your post. Go back under your bridge, troll. (Highly doubt this is satire - you most likely actually FEEL this way, which is truly sad...)

1 ReplyEarn? It's RNG, it's all luck. There's no warning exotics, other than the bounties that still require to get that bounty. But the only thing people can earn are weapons that have specific drops, and you still need luck to get it. Like fatebringer, you kill the Templar on hard, maybe once or ten times, but that's earning. Exotics are pure luck
