Ir Yut is now the abyss loot section, the patch notes stated they were moving the chest to ir yut instead to stop people repeatedly running the abyss only for chest drops.

The abyss still gets you stuff, just not the chest in the abyss

Well you are forgetting that getting through the abyss to the bridge gives you gear. Ir yut gives you a chance at an exotic and class item as well as mats so I don't think they are counting it as a loot point, just treating it like another chest
