★Destiny House of Wolves DLC Cut Content Confirmed - We Care Bungie★

Doing my part by sharing this around, we know they did it, and we know why. Now its time to let them know we care. EDIT: If you want to support this thread, just like it and walk away, go and enjoy the rest of your day and don't bother arguing with people on here. Thank you to everyone who liked/bumped. • Nothing is 'cut' everything that was ready was put on the disc. They already said this. They would have been working on House of Wolves since before the original game shipped. Doesn't mean it was ready to play. They don't just get to release date and then go 'right guys, we've got 3 months to put the DLC together' #facepalm

    • I dont see why it matters whether bungie created the dlc before or after they released the game

    • I thought this was going to be a video showing house of wolves locked content in the game instead it was some guy playing crucible for 25min talking a about how bungie and activision are -blam!- us because someone else glitches into some locked room content. Did no one think it was kinda weird that this is an online only game and that the only thing stored on the disk is probebly the origin setup command and the server prompt to access the network. Theres no such thing as disc locked content cause the disk is not where your playing the game the bungie/activision servers are.

      • can't wait for everyone to cheese the raid and get the best stuff since thats a thing now. I mean all the cheesers were saying they want to play the game how they play it so I guess there is no achievement to beating this raid or getting things from it.

This guy, with the same stuff. He's unaware of what really goes into making a game. Everything was there, he says. The map was, maybe a dead ghost, that's it. You have to script in dialogue, script in cutscene, put enemies in there, set spawns, set spawn timers, deal with enemy ai, and then playtest to ensure it works with the rest of the game. There is no evidence supporting that it is, in fact, complete content. None whatsoever. All the things I say they have to add are based off of my very limited knowledge of what goes into a game. There's probably more things that go into it. So yeah, continue with this conspiracy with offering no proof other than glitches in to areas and some moronic guy who complains non-stop about Destiny, but still continues to play it, coming up with half assed ideas based off of half truths and whole lies. He continues to play, but says it's garbage. That right there makes anything he says afterwards complete bullshit. He is a liar right off the bat, why are people trusting his stupid, stupid ideas?

        • They built this stuff intending it to be DLC before the game even started, I don't think it was cut. Still annoying.

        • So let's explain why the maps and such of the content are already there with one word. "Placeholders"

          • I enjoy the raids and crucible. And to be honest, Destiny is one of my most played games. That said, I don't know if I will buy Destiny 2. I really want to play the Raids with my friends and I want to play the crucible but I feel ripped off. At least I will wait until four weeks after release and I will watch more YouTube reviews than I did this time.

          • He's got a lot of things spot on here but it won't make a difference. All companies are out to make a profit. Including Bungie, they'll rinse us for as much money as possible.

            • 1. Did people really not expect this game to be Grindy & repetitive? (Meaning, doing the same stuff over & over in/on the same locations) 2. Did people really didn't see that it was obvious from the start we would get tons of DLC before "Destiny II"? 3. We don't know if the locked disc content is/was 100% finished, they might but the "areas" there in order to make the download size a hell a lot smaller when we get it, meanwhile they work on the last bits of the content which it will have, like enemies, functions etc etc. (CE was around 3gb I think?) 4. There is A LOT of content actually, it's just that the grinding/repetitiveness makes it feel less so. So to say this game has little content is wrong, especially by the 300hours + people. 5. If there would be no DLC people would have been compiling so much more then people are now. I like this game, a lot. It has it flaws, big flaws unfortunately (story, light system, punishing oldest players, items etc) but they can fix it, and they have too with Destiny II, or before.

            • Destiny is an Online Game, meaning no Offline support, that means the game requires servers to run which need to be funded and maintained. Maintenance on Hardware also costs money and requires staff to manage it, Bungie does not charge us a Monthly fee like most Online Games/MMOs which run from servers, instead we are left wanting more and buy expansions for £20 every 4+ Months, this balances for the most part about a fee that would be a monthly subscription. Look at ESO for Example, you had to buy the game to even be able to download it, and you had to pay a monthly fee on top of it. Companies do need to make money also, I believe the cut content and DLC prices was their reasoning for not implementing a monthly fee into the game.

            • Another point I'd like to mention, is that anyone thinking that when a developer sells a game and has an option to buy a season pass right away, and doesn't already have the DLC made, is an idiot. It's like buying a PS4 or XB1 on release day and getting pissed off that all of the extra accessories isn't included for free because they were already designed and made. The nerve! The gaming industry is screwed if this is the majority of gamer's mentality. Hopefully this is just the minority. I would like there to still be developers out there still making games.

              • One problem with the strategy of releasing reduced content games for inflated prices - in the long run you lose customers. How many people who bought Destiny isn't buying the DLC? How many aren't going to pick up Destiny 2? Personally, if Destiny 2 looks like Destiny, I have no interest in picking it up. If a significant portion of the consumer base drops the game, the decision to release such a small amount of content in the game will have serious consequences.

If Bungie/Activision ever wanted to engender good will with the community and improve the quality of their product, they would be able to do it fairly easily by providing The Dark Below and The House of Wolves free of charge and then commuting existing DLC and Expansion Passes to the next two items, the rumored Vex expansion and Forge of Gods. But they'll never want to engender good will with the community or provide a superior product. :D

                • I can't watch this. I hate that video game companies do this. But I dont usually play video games, except for this one and I'm going to keep playing because I like it. But still -blam!- activision. Business ethics, bungie/activision should look them up.
