Question; how can the vex be made by the traveler when they are billions if years old? References: before nexus strike ' another link in their INTERGALACTIC CHAIN, and "these ruins predate humanity by a few BILLION YEARS"- tyrion lannister from the future.

The vex opened portals to the past and then begin the terraformations billions years ago. This what i think he is talking about. But i really dont think that the Travelet create the Vex. Anyways... Why the Traveler create a race that can travel in the time for terraform the planets and dont do it by himself?? Maybe the Traveler is not immortal. No... i think the vex comes from far away. And there is dialogue in the game between you and your ghost that he said that the Vex can travel BETWEEN SOLAR SISTEMS in a moment. Then... they exist in other solar sistems. They are not exclusive from our sistem.

The humans didn't make the traveler. It simply came to them. The traveler must be a few billion years old too then.

So what was the traveler doing for those billions of years? Was no one noticing?

The Traveler is sometimes called the gardener. Its suposed that he was planting "roses in pots" (life in planets) in the "garden" (Galaxy/Universe). And the Darkness burn this flowers. There is a few cards talking about this. Read them again having this in count.

I agree the traveler is the terraformer. But he didn't make the vex, at least not as resent as op is saying
