The thought of upgrading the gear and guns I want based on my current level is outstanding. While I agree, it shouldn't be so easy to go from 20 to the level cap with vendor gear. I don't see the harm in letting me go from the previous raid gear level to the current level cap through an upgrade path similar to the current Exotic weapons. Raid armor and weapons should always be relevant. If necessary, keep adding Heroic levels to the raids, similar to story missions, and drop appropriate level gear.
