Can't help you on everything, but getting a job out of college is one thing I know a few pointers about that could help you out.
1. Get good grades. People say they don't matter. Numerically they may not, but mastery of your subject will open more doors. Good grades can help reflect this.
2. Get involved with clubs and talk with professors. They are just great resources overall.
3. Internships. Get one or two by the time you are done with college. You can take a semester off to do one or do it during the summer. It'll show you are driven, put you ahead of many of your peers, provide an inside view into the industry, gives you something to put on a résumé so a recruiter doesn't have to take a complete chance on you, and even possibly get some face time with someone who can get you a job. Internships are invaluable for people looking to start working in an area.
