Defender Titan. Sticky grenades do work in pve and pvp. Plenty of the exotic armors work in sync with perks in defender perk trees. My favorite being No Backup Plan, which enhances the duration of force barrier, to which I further enhance it with regeneration and strength of it. The armor I choose for Defender class is strength and discipline, usually resulting in force barrier being ready to use again after running out. This combination in pve renders you invincible. As bonus, WoD would take a bit longer to activate, but WoL and the perk that increases it's benefit will be waiting for my fireteam. In Crucible, it's all about the Armamentarium. Extra heavy and special ammo is perfection. Tossing an extra sticky grenade is bliss. The perks I would use would be force barrier's ready and reload quickly perk, increase duration of WoD, Armor of Light, and reducing cooldown of WoD. I tank inside of WoD with a shotgun and toss sticky grenades to fools waiting outside. The armor I would use here is intellect and discipline, giving me WoD faster and throwing grenades more frequently. Striker Titan I hardly use anymore but fun to use regardless in pve and pvp. I prefer having armor that provides intellect and discipline rather than strength, which allows me to FoH anything grouped together, whether in pve or pvp. I don't really remember the perfect set up for a striker class because I hardly use it. The Titan is the most aggressive class, which is suitable for me in particular. DevilTriggerDmC out.

  • Because the Defender class is the most helpful class out of every class and subclass. When it comes down to it, staying alive is what counts. And when you can provide that for the entire team, nothing beats it.

  • Awesome in both raids. You can pop Weapons of Light during Atheon you'll do considerably more damage. As a Striker during Crota's End, you can use pulse grenades during the lamps, and flashbang against Swordbearers and Gatekeepers. Makes them easy and defenseless. Plus, I can punch you out of existence.

PvE: Ability to help an entire team at once via Weapons or Blessing of Light. PvP: They are not the best. Hunters are due to their abilities.

  • And while I know warlock self res can help the team, I'd prefer to have members who are skilled enough to not die in the first place
