Best response I've seen about this entire situation came from Iran. Rouhani: Iran opposes terror. Joke of the -blam!-ing century.

Bibi's response also was a classic. He talked about how the world needs to deal with "Hamas, Hezbollah, ISIS, and al-Qaida." Note the order he listed those in Lol

  • I see where he's coming from with putting Hezbollah close to the top. They are becoming an increasingly global group and an increasingly globally dangerous group thanks to daddy Iran.

They certainly have a global network but they've always had that. Bibi is simply just ranking groups in terms of their immediate threat value to Israel

  • It doesn't matter what he means. It's going to be funny and ironic either way. Iran is the leading state sponsor of terrorism...

  • How exactly? Do they supply anything to AlQaida, ISIS, BH and the rest?

  • Also forgot to mention that Iran basically funds every major Palestinian terror group. Hamas, al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Popular Resistance Committees, PFLP, PFLP-GC...you name it.

  • Al Qaeda, yes. I'm unsure on the other two, but very unlikely. Iran sees IS as a threat and I don't see Iran supporting BH. There is nothing really to gain from that. Going back to al Qaeda, Iran allows them to operate inside their country. However, the network in Iran probably has an agreement to where they cannot plot against Iran. So, what we have seen is the network facilitating the transfer of weapons and fighters to Syria from Afghanistan/Pakistan via Iran. This is very interesting because al Qaeda is fighting Iran's troops and Hezbollah (I'll get to them in a bit) inside Syria. They sometimes target Hezbollah in Lebanon. And AQ has bombed the Iranian embassy in Beirut before. But none of this has changed their relationship. Iran also supports the Taliban in some respect. Iran also funds, trains, fights alongside and supports various Shia militias inside Iraq. Many of which are just as bad as the Islamic State. One group, Asa'ib al Haq, has been behind several massacres of entire Sunni families. The biggest group Iran supports by far is Hezbollah. It was founded by Iran, it's funded by Iran, trained by Iran, supplied by Iran, etc. Hezbollah has also become increasingly global thanks to Iran and they represent a large threat to both Jewish and US interests around the world. Let's also not forgot that the Iranian Quds Force, which is part of its military nexus, acts like a terrorist organization every chance it gets. Since, you know, it's job is to "export the revolution".

  • I know about Hezbollah and Iran. So AlQaida operates in Iran which means they are safe from US attacks since the US won't attack Iran right?

  • Right. And it allows Iran to support an AQ attack on the US and other enemies of Iran. It's literally "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" to a T.
