This is just so wrong... On so many different levels. The game needs to progress as a whole. Part of it progressing is new content. The old content isn't "useless" you can still get exotics and have "fun" running back through it. The incentive in each expansion to progress is to learn new, harder fights and get new better gear as a reward. That's like the Olympic swimmers swimming in a baby pool instead of a lap pool... "I should still be able to get a gold medal from the kiddie pool" is basically what you're saying. This is the most backward thinking thread I have seen on these forums.
