explosive rounds? why?
I have always been curious as to why people give this perk so much love. I have never personally used it.
Why is this perk considered to be so strong?
Edit : I know what I'm talking about, firefly and explosive rounds are very different things and I'm talking about explosive rounds (small explosions on target with each bullet).

You must be mixing explosive rounds with fire fly.

It does two types of damage - impact (the round damage) and area of effect (the target and his buddies standing round him). Each of my characters have a rare 297 scout rifle with explosive rounds and I use it to raid with. Thralls = meh. Nights = little harder but still helps. Witchybitches = shield disappears fairly quickly and is a giggle. Firefly is different. It's the poor relation. You only get the explosion if they die with a headshot. Every round with explosive rounds damages the target and his buddies. Seriously, try it!

Explosive rounds have better stopping power and work better on enemies with no critical hit spot or difficult to hit crit spots.
