Hah, thanks.
Yeah some folks take stuff a little too seriously and I just don't see a reason for exotic materials and processes for what will be a wall hanger that gets passed around to friends.

Think they mean t1 tool steel rather than ti1 titanium, even so wrong material for a knife although durable and good for industrial cutting tools and drills it tends to be brittle when made thin. Something like a chromoly steel (s30v) is a much better choice :)
