You are assuming that everyone who cheeses can't do the raids legit. The game isn't hard and no matter how hard they make it, whether people cheese or not, they will beat whatever mode if they want to. The game is a joke in many areas and they need to focus on fixing those areas and not just trying to keep people from cheesing. And you think wiping someones character or taking gear that they may have earned 99% legit for the 1% they earned from cheesing is ok, then you are crazy. No one in their right mind would keep playing if after all the hours they put in, lost their gear or characters and had to start over. That might as well be a permanent ban then bc only a severely unstable person would start over if their account was reset over some lame cheese.
