Are people who go around the deathsinger Even worthy of endgame?
Pretty easy fight. Takes about three minutes to do legit, kill two witches, kill two shriekers, kill a witch, done. Fight a hundred knights and off to kill crota. Are the people going around this fight, who aren't willing to invest three minutes, worthy of raid rewards?
EDIT: know what the worst part is? People won't even tell new raiders what's going on. They aren't explaining they are cheesing they aren't explaining how to do the fight legit. Then PPL get mad that no one knows how to do it. If we aren't teaching the new guys what to do how can we be mad at them for not knowing?
Edit: If you guys put as much effort into actually raiding as you do defending your shady actions this would be a non-issue

I wish theyd just make the deathsinger stage a lead in the crota instead of a seperate stage. Would make the fight more of an ordeal and a more suspenseful lead up to the final drop

The funniest thing is that the only part of this raid I have done legit is deathsinger, which gives no rewards......

Kill a hundred nights lol. Funny because it's so true. I actually really enjoy the deathsinger fight. The only thing that sh!ts me is that you're not rewarded for it like you were for gatekeepers in VoG, which I feel is a similar pre-boss phase. The group I raid with always do it legit on first characters but then, since there's no reward, we'll pass the Crota CP to other characters. This week we four manned it pretty comfortably.

Fight through it to Crota on your first run. Grab the checkpoint on other characters. Skip Deathsinger the remaining two runs. Profit

I've done the deathsinger all of 4 times or so. 2 times with a regular group, once solo and once 2 manning. I just do it once then skip it on all the other characters. Oh and funny thing Is, I beat it the first time i tried on solo... I was doing it for the shits and giggles but I ended taking down the bich

When it starts to get out of hand and crazy is the most fun in the raid. Edit: it would be nice if there were at least shards/energies as a reward for doing it though.

Lol actually did it last night cuz I was too lazy to find a crota cp. Ended up being a fairly easy fight. Only took around 5-10 minutes. I was surprised, and we were only a fireteam of 5

This part of the raid is actually really easy, but those without maxed weapons (shouldn't be there anyway) will have trouble.

The very first time my buddies and I got there it took us about an hour to figure it out and beat this part. Now we can do it the first time in under 5 minutes. It is NOT that hard people!

5 RepliesFor my clan it's simple: Drops no loot then it's worth skipping. We will do it once and then immediately save Crota to all of our alts just so we don't have to do it again. And once we learned we could solo that part like a week ago, we stopped doing it legit altogether. It's not a fun fight since it's so messy, and it has no loot. Why do it? Bungie rushed the shit out of Crota raid imo. It's super short and so many ways to cheese it all. I don't mind that they rushed it since we were so starved for content, but all this shit better be fixed in time for hard mode.

4 RepliesIve beaten crota several times easily and you're right, thw Crota raid isn't hard at all. The deathsinger is the more difficult part but its not as hard as people make it out to be. I will admit to cheesing because it's a part of the game right now BUT when they patch it I'll still be able to beat the raid. I cheese because I can. Atheon raid is so much better because it still has a level pf difficulty thats makes it hard. Beating Crota legit only takes 40-45 minutes.
