Just for the dreg dialogue situation. Just think about it. There's good and there's evil. Do the evil call themselves evil ? no they call themselves good and they call what are the "good guys" bad. So this could explain why they call us the darkness because to them we are evil even though to the greater good we are actually the better side. Idk just an idea to solve that problem or theory that you have

Your being bias. What if WE actually are the evil in the broader scheme of things. Me and my buddies joke around about this but man I really would like a decent story plot twist.

No I'm not saying I wouldn't love a great storyline because this would be Amazing. But with very few evidence I'm just making sure that what you are believing isn't just a misconception because what I am saying about the situation is very true.

I don't think they're being biased so much as playing devil's advocate. It's a common wartime propaganda truck to dehumanise your opponents and let's be honest, dregs don't seem that smart to start with. But I agree with we're the bad guy they just thought I'd throw another one at you
