You work hard in any rpg type game to get what you get. They have to leave old content old content. Quit crying that you have to work to get new upgraded gear. All everyone wants is hand outs. I do feel vanguard gear should only get you to 30 so people will do vog for shards and gear to get to 30 quicker then only getting vanguard gear.

Just saying if you wanna choose the way you wanna look it so you can transfer skins from legendary and excotic but keep stats for new weapons problem fixed

This is nothing to do with not wanting to work for gear, or wanting 'hand-outs' it's about addressing the problem that every weapon or piece of armour in the game except exotics are guaranteed to be obsolete within 3 months of being released. This means that the variety of guns limited to guns from the newest DLC, and nothing else, an any gun you get is only useful for a very short period of time. Many people have a problem with this because since in Destiny your gear defines your character, and so if people love a specific weapon or ability on their armour, they probably want to keep it for more than 3 months
