Possibly you're right but as it stands the VoG is completely pointless for old and new Guardians.. That's what's wrong.. They shouldn't be selling better gear than the first raid.. It should be a stepping stone to the next raid and the next level.

Indeed, making factions sells better stuff than VoG was of the most STUPID ideas I ever saw in a online game.

If the Vanguard cap was lower, people would use VoG to level up to 30, then begin CE. Making things a natural progression. Instead of handing out commendations for ranks, they should have forced people to finish VoG raids to earn something to buy higher level items from the Vanguard.

Yup, exactly. My thought was possibly even having a Lv 32 VoG with the possible drop off 331 weapons and Lv 31 Gear that could be upgraded to Lv 32 with an item you can only get in Crota's End. This way VoG is still worthwhile, VoG weapons can still be used, and if you want Lv 32 then you still must play Crota's End. Thoughts?
