You made that out of cold roll? What a waste of your time, should have made it out of T1 or something more durable. Way to heavy and looks pretty shitty too

Its a prop you ass hat! Stop being so rude. Doc SoCal has done an incredible job of replicating the Hunter knife. Keep your opinions to yourself.

Knife geeks are a rough crowd. Talk about elitist. Worse than gun nuts, I would say... and I am both... :P FWIW you are correct, I was not trying to build a folded steel Katana, just a cool Hunters knife that feels very real and would certainly do plenty of damage if push came to stab. :P Thanks for the kind words.

Brother, not too many blade makers use T1. It's hard to heat treat, and gets brittle when you put an edge on it. You also don't need to be a dick. If you don't have anything nice to say, keep your mouth shut.

Yeah let's see your effort ?

Right? Dude's a hater. Probably couldn't make a -blam!-ing cookie in a mold, let alone that project.

THE BURRNNSSS Burns for days.

He's gotta start somewhere. Better to start with easier steel to get the design right, then up it to T10 or some other weapon grade steel.

Who uses T1 for knives?

I haven't seen any.
