the new guns have to be worth getting, but they should make all items irrelevant, there isnt enough variety as it is I think all previous raid gear should be able to goto the new cap, but maybe make the gear a bit more specific to the raid. So if you want 32 VoG gear for patrols or crucible then you can, but when it comes to the raids you are better off with that specific raid gear
