This isn't that funny at all, the VOG was, is still, the best part of this game. The armor and gear may not be important anymore, but that isn't the point. This raid showed that Bungie can fabricate and design a class act game. The design for this feat in FPS gameplay really challenged gamers. If Bungie abandons this raid, I know I won't be the only one to lose faith in the company. It's not about level relevance as you so eagerly point out, it's the future of this -blam!- game. Why would any company throw away the best aspects and pave the way to future with garbage?
