People are to excited over arrest of Lizard Squad.
Everyone is to excited over arrest of 3 people getting arrested in relation to the gaming network crash. Lizard Squad is like Anonymous in a sense. Its more than a group, its a ideal. Anyone could take up the name Lizard Squad and preform a DDoS attack again.

ok first of all lizard squad isn't even in the same league as anonymous. that's like Silva fighting a kid in high school. lizard isn't even really a hacker group. some lame asses looking for attention, mommy and daddy didn't hold them enough. Anonymous hack with a purpose, where as lizard DDOS'ed cuz they could. Any retard with a computer can DDOS. shit there was a 12 year old that got cought doing it to the highest ranked COD player a few years ago.

9 RepliesI mean it's not like the parent company Sony declared recently that the PS4 and Playstation brand in general to be it's primary focus for business because all of its other brands have been failing to meet their quotas. Their PC and TV brands have been going downhill every year. Then again, its not like Sony hasn't already had a huge blowback from a previous hacking incident with the PSN and PS3 and having all their customer's information stolen and sold online recently... And its not like Sony's other strategic business unit at Sony Pictures didn't just suffer tremendously from their recent hacking incident. But hey, fanboys will always look beyond that sort of stuff when blindly defending their current favorite corporation or political entity. A lot of kids are just that... kids. They don't know any better.

Not really ideal as you say. In fact very much the opposite to ideal for millions of console gamers around the globe. There was no goal, no moral or ethical reasoning... This attack was pure and simply because they can... Same reason dogs lick their balls... So yes, Anonymous are an idea, a movement... Something bigger than just one person... Lizard Squad, not an idea, not a movement. If anyone wants to claim they are lizard squad they will only be reducing their credibility dramatically.

Lizard squad told them beginning of December what their intentions were. We pay money for a stable network to enjoy, yet this is what they do with out money...nothing.
