Halo or Destiny?
Which game is better, Halo or Destiny? Why? Halo started it all, Halo is Bungie's baby. I hear people saying Halo is better than Destiny on here all the time, and everywhere people say this. (Destiny is only winning due to it being a Destiny forum and it has Playstation users also now. )

2 RepliesBungie's Halo was the best, not the 343's Halo. To be honest it's an unfair comparison because Halo have 15 years above of Destiny, but I do think that Destiny have great potential, the first release it's just a test, I'm sure Destiny 2 will be better.

1 ReplyI chose Destiny. I never played Halo back in the day due to despising FPS's. I gave Destiny a try coming from playing primarily RPG's, and loved it purely from this perspective. I recently tried Halo MCC and have completed the first 5 missions so far, it's okay, I definitely see how much Destiny could have been better with mission variation however the lack of a leveling progression system within Halo makes me wonder if there is anything to work towards other than completing the story. The RPG element of Destiny keeps me coming back hour after hour

Better multiplayer, better story, characters, more interesting weapons, better level design. Destiny beats Halo in graphics, art, with the new engine I think it even has better gameplay and shooting. It also obviously wins in things like online coop and raids, loot and RPG character progression, since Halo never tried to be an RPG or an MMO. At the core of what makes the PvP and the PvE elements of the game, Halo wins hands down. Its PVP is balanced, skilful, fun with variety of weapon choice and no real op or overused guns. The maps are incredible and memorable. Destiny is full of fusion rifles 1 hitting everyone at the range the decently made but small maps put you into. Halo's campaign is far and away better in every way than Destiny's "story" mode. It actually told a plot line from start to finish during each game, instead of starting and barely explaining like 10 plot lines and never finishing any of them. Halo had characters you gave a shit about, cohesive cutscene based story telling and missions with clear, varied and mostly well explained objectives. Destiny had Dinklebot, enough said. While at the current time, I obviously think Halo is better, I believe Destiny had and still has the potential to be better if Bungie take on advice. Like I heard someone say on the forums one time, I love Destiny, I just wish they would stop giving me reasons to hate it.

both.. Microsoft just needs to wait a year or two to make sure they get their moneys worth on console purchases then approve a port for MCC over to playstations and Microsoft would make all the monies.. and I could play ce again

Both. They are the same but not. The differences make them incomparable on the whole. So I say both.
