problem/glitch with Exotic Hunter Helmet The Mask of the Third Man
Ok so here's the deal; I have a mask of the third man that I ascended through Xur.
I also got a mask of the third man after the DLC dropped.
The problem is that the MotTM that I ascended has 36 possible light and 96 intellect while the new MotTM has only 30 possible light but 104 possible intellect
So the problem is the MotTM is not ascending correctly with the DLC
Anybody else have this problem?

2 RepliesI am not sure if this is a possible explanation but I noticed when I was running the VOG before the DLC came out, that the boots I got were sometimes different (in stats) than the exact same boots I got from the raid earlier. It may be possible that you can get different stats with exotics as well (I don't get them enough to know if this is really the case). Also it is entirely possible that items you get from drops post DLC may be better than items you upgrade through xur. Anyways that's my thoughts. I have no idea since it's almost three weeks since I played (and I am dying to get back).

Stats on gear, even exotic, is random. For exotic it will always be the same stat(s) though. You can get 2 36 exotics and they will have different amounts of the same stats.
