Why don't Strike bosses drop loot? (Ex guns, armour, etc. 100% drop rate)

I was watching AngryJoeShow's Angry Rant about Destiny. He was talking about Strikes, and then he brings up the question, why doesn't strike bosses drop loot. I was wondering the same damn thing. Bungie you need to add this, it makes perfect sense. Here is the link to AngryJoe's video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzopWRXK_r4 He has lots of good points. I am focusing on why Strike bosses dont drop Mandatory loot. They still have a chance to change this, it would be a great thing to do, a 100% drop-rate, but its random depending on what LEVEL strike it is depends on what drops. EDIT 1: After killing the boss he should drop a gun for example, or armour, depending on your Level decides what gun or armour you get and how good it is.

  • Guaranteed blue drops, because you need more things to dismantle? Also, the full RNG system (as ugly as it is) prevents people from avoiding certain strikes because they don't need/want gear from there. Which was always an issue in WoW. Also strikes do have guaranteed loot, if you select them from the map, instead of doing the strike playlist. The reward for doing the playlist is marks, which lets you choose legendary gear. Which is a far better way to get loot than grinding Sepiks Prime for a 0.2% at his legendary gun drop. The loot system in Destiny is a pain if you're looking for a specific item, but it's actually more generous than WoW is/was if you're looking for upgrades.
