In-game and ps4 log that is recorded on bungie servers. There is a way. They can see when and how you left the server. Where you were in-game as well. This is a fact.

They can see where you left and when, they cannot tell whether it was due to you pulling the plug directly or not... they just see a disconnect. Maybe it was a power surge, cat or dog unplugged it, maybe a kid messing around and got it unplugged.... unless it's a network error they don't know.
