Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

2 RepliesBack when there was no matchmaking on the weekly , i finally got 13 sc, waited for xur to sell hunter don't touch me gauntlets... Bought them, equipped them, then for giggles bought the guantlets engram (motes of light) and you guessed it , master raul decodes the don't touch me guantlets.... DARN YOU RNG...

I have two stories [spoiler]It took 42 crota completions before I ever got the Hunter class item, [i]Shroud of Flies[/i][/spoiler] [spoiler]My friend is the only one out of our group (there's 5 of us) who doesn't have a Gjallarhorn or Fatebringer. Between the 5 of us, we have 7 gjallarhorn's and not one of them belongs to our friend. We have countless fatebringers, I have 4 and all of us at some point has gotten a double drop except for our friend. We did Vault of Glass together where someone get a double fatebringer drop, then I got my second Gjallarhorn out of the exotic chest. He gets mocked daily and once he sent me a picture, where he was in first place and the guy below him who didn't even do that good got a gjallarhorn. If that's bad luck I don't know what is[/spoiler] Those are my stories. [b]lik if U crie evrytiem[/b]

Here's a funny story: Week 3 of this games release I attempted my first nightfall. New to the forums, I was quickly brought in my two gaurdians who were already in the NF. (It was Valus that week) I join in and notice they are already at the boss. I'm thinking to myself, "sweet an easy finish". I walked in to the final room to go greet them and BOOM, rocketed to death. 2 minutes go by and they end up beating him while I was dead. Here's where it gets good.... Final Stat line: 0 kills, 0 assists, and 1 death. Rng presents are gifts.... [spoiler]the mother -blam!-ing gjallahorn[/spoiler] Yes they were pissed and I had no clue Wtf this gun was at the time. Little did I know it would turn out to be the "crutch" of destiny. I never laughed so hard. That's RNG for ya.
