"Hotfix" is a hot mess. Anteater/Fly/Vulture

Ever since the "hot fix" earlier today I haven't been able to play more than five minutes on any given planet. I tried a mission and was sent to orbit at least a half dozen times. I tried doing patrols I kill 3 ads and then am sent to orbit. I tried grinding the Iron Banner for 5 hours, 5 HOURS, and was lucky to get ?? matches in. I only earned 20 marks so it couldn't have many. "Contacting Destiny Servers" 4-5 times a match, waiting for revive for minutes on end. game is broken

  • I just want to say I understand I'm a little irate in my first post but this is a problem that I've taken every step out there to try and solve. I have done all the recommendations by bungie. I have changed my router and networking setup totally. I have even posted my setup and statistics the Xbox gives me in another thread (which was totally ignored) and there doesn't seem to be any option out there for ppl that can't play the game. So why is part of the consumer base totally ignored? I don't get it. As a business owner is realize even my smallest customer needs some kind of communication or some kind of fix to a problem they are having. At least acknowledgement of that problem. Destiny knows a small fraction of their user base cannot even play their game at the moment but has not said anything in the latest weekly update which will be the last one until the new year. U are completely ignoring your customers, tour player base. Albeit a small section of it obviously otherwise I presume you would care more. But come on, what the hell are people supposed to do when the game does not work at all? We can't even do a single player mission because it's totally online. If u are going to release an online only game one would think u might actually try working out all the bugs before releasing it. The entire time I've played Destiny it feels like playing a beta. The lack of story, the missteps mistakes errors bugs glitches and "oops" it's unbelievable that this went to market. It's even worse that people accept it because it will become the new standard in gaming. You guys can pat yourselves on the back I guess for a clear success for you and the bank book but realize too u are the lead up to the downfall of gaming as an industry. Like Microsoft and their impossible help desk purposely impossible so they don't have to deal with problems. So they can release crap software and never deal with the consequences. Can't wait till the gaming world reflects computer software. We're in for a lot of "fun". Or at least it will say that on the box.
