YOUR WORST LOOT DROP EXPERIENCE!
Seriously, what was the most gut-wrenching, soul-destroying post-game reward scenario you've been in?
Example:
[i]Today, I began a Roc Strike and the rest of my team left. It was the Winter's End strike, so I continued on solo.
I managed to get all the way to the Archon Priest, when two other Guardians joined me. I was happy, cuz I knew it would have been a grind otherwise. 3 minutes later, we kill him.
The reward screen comes up. One of them had 22 kills, and one had 9. I myself had 183 kills. AND WHAT DOES THE 9-ER GET? NO LAND BEYOND![/i]
What is your tale of woe? True story btw.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I didn't have plans to play with NLB, I just wanted it for my collection.
[b]EDIT 2[/b]: To all people who complain about having [i]multiple[/i] exotics, but not the one they want; two things: Get in line, and, Exotic Shards.
[b]EDIT 3[/b]: I bought NLB from Xur while he was here. Still a little miffed, but I feel better now.

Love you rng

Endless shards and energy from Crota while my friend gets Thunderlord. Last week he also got Gjallarhorn and Truth in VoG. -_-

My friend and i get on and play the summoning pit and a person joined us and went afk and I got pissed off and so I calmed down and then we beat pho goth and the all the sudden the level 26 afk got a freaking Suros and then here I am with a blue scout rifle

This week's (Feb. 3) nightfall. First run: Me and a friend two-man it. He gets G-Horn, I get 8 Ascendant Energy. Second run: Same buddy as before, but this time his wife joins in. She got Thunderlord, I got a Venation III with crappy perks. Third run: Jumped on with a couple of clanmates. One had already run it, the other got a Devil You Don't with passable perks. I got 12 Ascendant Energy. Well, there's 22 energy to add to my 100 stack in the vault...

I joind a group doing atheon on hard, thought I could help if they died, they won, I got Monte Carlo, was passed becuas I didn't even get a kill and I got That weapon,

beating crota on all three of my characters and only getting shards ;_;

Killed atheon on hard - got 2 shards - friend got gjallarhorn. Killed the deathsingers on normal - only 2 people got a prize (and this was our first run on these characters) I'm one of the ones who for some reason got nothing. Played a game of crucible - the guy who was literally afk the whole game and came last (he probably tied something between the controller sticks so he would run circles and not get booted) got a gjallarhorn. I came first in our team and got nothing.

He got NLB and you say that he got lucky? I would have apologized to the poor bastard.. Anyways. Did fresh HM Crota. Entire thing, only got energy and Word of Crota. Others in the match got an entire raid set, 1 Ghorn, 1 Remote, and one set of full raid weapons.
