9 hours of getting Husk of the pit... and still nothing
I don't know whether I have missed an update or I need some sort of magical gun to kill this damn guy but I just never seem to get the "Husk of the Pit", I have played the Fist of Crota enough times to remember the cut scene off by heart. 9 HOURS!!
So somebody please comment that they are on the same boat as me or I am the most unluckiest person on Destiny at the moment :'(

2 RepliesI farmed for 8 to 12 hours straight before I got it u have a better chance of finding it if u complete satanic rituals in your home start out with a nice big pentagram on your living room floor then use the blood of a bungie employee to draw the symbols of the dark lord don't forget to have a severed goats head in the middle of your pentagram you will also need candles on ever intersecting line of the pentagram then being your ritual in full latin and bam husk of the pit will drop

Got mine in patrol on earth months ago by accident before I knew about it. like to get another been looking ever since no luck so I'm not sure if there is a method to obtain it just right time right place maybe?

Do the fist of crota. I helps if you have a bounty of killing 3 crota knights of kill 15 hive with crota sword. Both eris bounty's. Don't know for sure but you can also get them from crota end. I have 1 necro now and around 9 husk of pit.

I don't even have the dark below . I was doing a mission on my lvl 5 Hunter and it dropped. Lol

I have gotten two husks, both on my low level warlock. I got them both in the cosmodrome on patrol. The place you start off at, I went to the left and down the stairs right there and killed the blade that was waiting there.

I have close to 50 hours swapping on and off between my gf and I on my account just faeming these in the fist mission and in cosmodrone. Yet to come across 1 husk... so your not the unluckiest person, lol

I believe they have made that particular sword bearers drop rate lower than random event SB's if you still haven't found it I would suggest going to the moon patrol and cruise around the hell mouth. That is where I've gotten pretty much all of mine. Hope this helps you out man

get the sword in the cosmodrome 3 times then you will get the husk

ive gotten 2 crux's but no husk, damn pity.

4 RepliesThe weapon has a higher drop rate if you kill a Blade thats equal or higher than you (So starting a new character gives you a better chance)

I have a theory that others share that when you try and get it you won't. If you just spawn in doing bounties and run into one and kill it you'll get it.

Just stop trying for it worked for me. Wasn't attempting to get it when i loaded up the phogoth nightfall a couple of weeks ago. Saw that a ritual was starting so went to it killed the knight and 20 seconds later it appeared on the right side of my screen

Killed the Blades casually for about an hour waiting for Ugrok or whatever his name is to spawn on Earth, squealed like a little girl in my Skype call.

Play The Fist of Crota mission and kill the first Blade of Crota that spawns then go to orbit and do it again and again.

Go to patrol cosmodrome, I have had all 8 drop there, the blade spawns in the steppes every couple of minutes, my advice would be don't intentionally go and farm for it, if you just kill blades through the normal course of gameplay for patrols and public events it will drop at some point

I got my two from just doing patrol. Both from the same patrol run come to think of it. It's just down to luck really.
