I played diablo II LOD for a year before I had internet, I spent literally a good 4 years playing on closed battlenet once I finally did, those were the days!

Same. Those were the good old days. I remember putting a pillow over my tower to dampen the sound of my modem connecting to the internet, so I didn't wake people up.

Haha exactly right! I can still name literally 95% of legendaries and sets in that game.. Along with rune words :S
