The fault in our stars.
As a survivor it just doesn't seem fair that people with unlikely odds at life, who have dreams and aspirations, should have it snatched away. I know most people will say "that's just a part of life", well unless you know what it's like going through all of it, then I'm pretty sure my emotion watching it is 10x deeper than yours. ;-;

I agree. You either have to be able to relate to the characters realistically or have great empathy to give a care about that story. Otherwise, its cliche and a waste of time.

You said you were a survivor? How far along did the cancer grow?

They caught it early I was declared in remission a month after diagnosis but I underwent treatments for 4 years after that. Chemo and radiation. I guess just to be sure

Had to be nerve racking man. It's too bad you had to go through that.

I was 5, I didn't fully understand what was going on. I just knew I was sick.

But now you're past it, and with few or no complications I'd imagine.

You'd imagine but my skeletal structure didn't develop quite right. One side of my ribs stick out, the other sinks in.
