Is this for real?
You think this is an event to test skill and then cry when you get destroyed by a lower level player? What you want is a completely unbalanced event, so it allows higher levels to think they're better than they are. Thankfully, it is not like that.

I thought the whole point of this game mode was that it's the only one that was meant to be unbalanced...

Not completely. Bungie has already told us that players within 2/3 levels of each other have a fair shot at killing each other. You will destroy players below that level, but I doubt there are that many of them playing IB.
