I've been gaming for 5+ years on plasma 3D HDTVs, no issue at all. I played the DCUO MMO on ps3 like it was my job, no burn in. Destiny on PS4 on my newest 3D tv, again, no burn ins. It all depends on if you age(break in) the plasma properly before you use the tv for gaming. I made sure to take the proper steps to age the plasma, then after a few hundred hours of use. (I used a professional plasma tv kit to calibrate both of the tv's, my friend does this for a living and I used his calibration equipment) and then I started to game. As a result, both of our Samsung plasma 3D tv's are fine.
