Destiny = Internet Tech Simulator

This $60 or more we spent for Destiny is not only bringing many people to frustration due to the lack of customer support and the billions of error codes that plague us every new update, but the fact that they have the GALL BLADDER to say (Straight to our faces) it's our connection that's the problem. I'm a 1,000,000,000% sure if I played any other Bungie related games, like literally any other Halo game, it will run fine with no problems. I feel like I bought a Internet Tech simulator because I (For some reason) have to learn how to open ports in my router, create a Static IP, Port forward, create a whole new IP address for my Xbox 360 (Which has been working fine the past 3 years I used it) just to play a game. Might as well dismantle it and make it function to only Destiny standards. I want to play your game, I really do, just like how I played the heck out of Gears of war 3, Battlefield 4, and other games I found fun with. Why is it, that every other game works fine with my connection, but only Destiny wants to disconnect me? In short: I'm a Xbox 360 user, Comcast service, can sometimes play for 30 minutes at 3 AM Error Codes: Caterpillar, Hawk, Viper (WTF IS Viper?!), Banjo, Currant, Baboon It has been like this since the Oct. 28 Update.

    • Bungie was on here 2 min ago telling a guy that he posted a recruiting question in the wrong foeum section and that they will move it for him. That is the extent of this help forum i imagine.

      • One thing that helped me when I had constant issues is that I switched from the digital version to the disk. I talked to Microsoft and got a refund on the digital version and saved $40 when I bought the disk from my local gamestop. Disks were cheap cause of a over abundance of them from being returned.

      • I'd like to know why bungie won't address the server issue. I mean just last week they twitted a "team meeting" photo.... Nice to know they're eating cupcakes and having fun. I haven't been able to play at all since the DLC. I think that's grounds for a refund

      • I feel your pain... Having the same issues on my end as well. And find it difficult to believe Bungie's position that it's all on our end. I guess the fact that most of us only started to have issues the day of the actual download of the DLC rules out that this is out modems. That's a whole lotta coincidence if you ask me... considering there are thousands who have these issues after the DLC. What's disturbing is that Bungie can't seem to keep us posted as to what the issue really is, and what solutions we can use to resolve it. Instead... they blame us for the problems with their game. Funny... don't have these issues with any other game or app on XBL. But now the solution is I have to replace my modem which seems to work fine in EVERY OTHER INSTANCE. GO figure.
