After initially breaking my arm and fracturing my wrist, I didn't have pain for some time. Then, it all hit me at once and especially because of how I was holding it with my other arm (was literally holding it right where my forearm was broken). When they set it in a temporary cast at the hospital, I blacked out from the sheer pain.

Damn, all the pain just coming all at once, must have been absolutely awful .

Yes, it was horrible. I'm just glad that was it because I didn't need pills for pain afterwards really and I prefer to not take them.

That's good. Why don't you like pain medication? My father is the same way, doesn't really like drugs at all.

I know how addictive it is from friends lives that were ruined and I have a high pain tolerance so I try my best to deal with the pain.
