Personally I bought the pass for both expansions, that being said I believe that you are right to complain and your reasoning is valid. You shouldn't have to pay continuously for a game that you've already paid for and the fact that they've done things this way is a huge slap in the face for all who cannot afford or don't want to buy the dlc, fair enough, the nightfall/weekly heroic will be on rotation anyway but vendor armor etc is unavailable now is ridiculous. Although I'm enjoying the expansion aside from the stupid method of upgrading Exotics, I know that Bungie's blatent disregard of players who haven't got the DLC is going to be a deciding factor on whether or not I'll ever purchase another Bungie or Activision title.
