Not sure what's worse. Bungie's gutting a 3 month old game or the -blam!-ing shitbags who revel in it.

I understand the logic behind it, marketing will have worked for some, but what about the average joe or someone in my gift situation, just doesn't seem fair. I just have to deal with it.

I'm in the same boat. Told my wife she could get me it for Christmas. Never dreamed there only be a shell of a game to play until then. I still like the game. I'll play the dlc when I get it at Christmas, but I'll never look at Bungie the same way again.

Right before you get the dlc make sure you Cap your vanguard marks Cap your glimmer Have plenty of ascendant shards Do all 10 bounties but do not turn them in Have exotic shards ready Be 1 or 2 bounties away from leveling a faction, vanguard, and crucible. This should help you when you do get the dlc. First thing you should do is buy some new vanguard gear. I hope you get a chance to do the nightfall next week though.
