ATTN: Do Not buy "The Devil You Don't" Hand Cannon!
Please be smarter than me and spend your money on something else because I cant hit anything with this pos.
My favorite weapon in the game for PVP is TLW. Based on TDYDs stats (high rate of fire/stability) I thought it could be a decent backup for when I wanted an exotic special or heavy. However, it seems like this is one of the most inaccurate guns of any class I have used, its literally losing gun fights for me. I didn't realize the Clown Cartridge perk only grants ONE extra bullet IF it procs, and at a base mag of 5 rounds, this isn't a significant difference.
I feel terrible when I think about other people spending their marks/commendations on this gun so do me a favor and don't.

Mine's got armor piercing rounds and something else I can't remember(it dropped for me). I kinda like it

Got a field scout one from nightfall, but it's still not great because of the short range... Just bought The Chance from FWC that has field scout and spray and play... Now that was more like it!

I bought The Devil You Don't just as all other primary weapons were maxed out in Grimoire. Other than 5 rounds I found it very good. Early on I did think that I would get TFWPKY 1969 but stuck with it. 10000 kills later I was done. This was before the weapon update though, I have to admit Hand Cannon needed a nerf. It seemed that TDYD performed as well as Badger CCL!

20 RepliesI only brought this piece of junk because i needed a cannon with more damage i had backhanded compliment was happy with that except for the 294 damage cap i was looking at buying the devil you know then the day i finally earned enough marks to buy it from the vendor bungie in there infinite wisdom decided to change the quartermasters inventory to only dlc gear. And since i dont play pvp i cant get any marks to buy and other vendor sold cannons and i cant find anyone who wants to run the vog on hard for me to try get fatebringer so im kinda stuck with this junk till i get something better grrrrrrrr disappointed bungie at least rotate the vendor gear every so often!!!!!

I got mine as a reward. I like it because it was the first hand cannon I decided to try out. It does the job for me but, I'm probably a scrubby, Christmas noob to most. I do wish it held more rounds, though.

I bought it too and I didn't hate it. Then I got Thorn. I dismantled it after that but it was ok as a first Legendary HC.
