You can purchase vendor gear, but it is disappointing that those who didn't purchase the DLC can't do the daily/weekly/nightfall. I understand that they want to push the content but they should have found a way to do it that didn't impact those so much that didn't purchase it.

Someone suggested a normal and dlc Playlist and the players would choose one and get the rewards and not get rewards for doing the other. I upped it by suggesting the second Playlist the player chooses gets a 25% or 50% of original nominal value (nightfall 500, nightfall 2 125 or something) so that way everybody gets to play and dlc holders get a "thank you" bonus
